*DAY 1. Managua – Hotel Managua

Arrival in Managua , Meet & Greet by a bilingual representative, transfer to your hotel Los Robles 3*, conveniently located next to major restaurants (see our hotels selection ).

*DAY 2. Managua – Granada

After breakfast, leave Managua and drive to Granada City, on the way we’ll stop in Masaya; 17 km south from Managua, we will visit the finest Handicraft Market where you can enjoy the creativity and variety of Nicaraguan art at bargain prices the market is open all days of the week but in the morning the activity is more frenetic. Later, enjoy a delicious lunch in Catarina, a small and characteristic village of Nicaragua where people work seedling nurseries, make handcraft and raise horses. Placed on top of a hill at 520 meters over the sea level, present a very agreeable climate, the temperature is between 22 and 27 degrees, from here you can have a magnificent view of the Apoyo lagoon, Mombacho volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua . In the afternoon, we will go to San Juan de Oriente, famous for its ceramic arts; almost every house has an artisan. Transfer to Granada , accommodation in your hotel La Gran Francia 3*. (B, L)

*DAY 3. Granada – Tours

In the morning we will go for a horse – drawn carriage tour of Granada , after lunch you will enjoy a boat tour in Lake Nicaragua to know 365 beautiful Islands . Night in your hotel. (B, L)

*DAY 4. Granada - Mombacho

Your guide will pick you up in your hotel. Transfer to Mombacho Natural Reserve, you will reach the top of the mountain, thanks to a special truck. Drive through the coffee plantations, and then arrive at 3 500 ft above see level. Transfer back to Granada . Night in your hotel. (B, L)

*DAY 5. Granada – Ometepe

Early in the morning your guide will pick you up in your hotel. Leave Granada and drive to San Jorge, we will provide the tickets for the ferry to Ometepe Island ; you will have all day to tour this beautiful island. About 4:00 take the ferry back to San Jorge. Transfer back to Granada , night in your hotel. (B, L)

*DAY 6. Granada – Leon

We will pick you up in your hotel and transfer to Leon, on the way we will stop in Managua to take a City tour of Managua, later leave Managua and drive to Leon City, on the way you will stop at Las Ruinas de Leon Viejo, continue driving and you will arrive in Leon. Accommodation and night in your hotel El Convento 3*. (B, L).

*DAY 7. Leon – Tours

After breakfast you will go for a guided city tour. You will visit the main monuments, the cathedral and churches, a beautiful art gallery and more.

Lunch in Leon . Later we will drive drive east (25 minutes from Leon ) to observe a volcanic phenomena, the boiling mud at San Jacinto , very humble village. Those are geysers coming out from the earth, with a temperature of 300 Degrees Celsius. You can get just a few steps away from the geysers!. Transfer to Managua , Night in your hotel Los Robles 3*. *DAY 8. Leon – Managua

This day we will drive you to the International Airport to take your flight back to your country. End of our services. (B)

Price of this package per person, private for 2 persons sharing a double room:
Until November 15th, 2005, and after May 1 st, 2006: US $ 899 per person.
Between November 16 th, 2005 and April 30 th, 2006: US $ 949 per person.
Note: a minimum of two persons is required. Special rates apply for more than 3 participants.
