Shuttles: Policies

  1. Free sale up to 72 hours prior to the day of service. Availability must be confirmed for reservations made less than 72 hours prior to the day of the service.
  2.  Cancellations free of charge can be made within 30 days prior to departure; after that term, a 100% fee will be charged.
  3.  If for any reason, including flight delays, the passenger fails to show up at the established place and time, a 100% fee will be charged by Nica express for No Show.
  4.  The confirmation time established in the reservation may vary in a 15-minute interval due to traffic jams or delays while waiting for other passengers.
  5.  The shuttle bus will only wait 10 minutes in the assigned pick up places as it is a shared and scheduled service. If the passenger still fails to show up ten minutes past the assigned pick-up time, this will result in a No Show status and the passenger will be charged a 100% free.
  6. No food is allowed in the vans
  7.  Each passenger is allowed one carry-on and one item of luggage.
  8.  Carry-on items must remain with the passenger at all times during the trip and Nica Express will not be held liable for loss or damage to carry-on items not properly supervised by the passenger. This includes carry-on items incorrectly placed inside the luggage compartment.
  9. Children under 12 years of age pay 50% of the adult rate.
  10. Children under 3 years old must use a car seat for children during the trip. These are provided free of charge and must be requested when making the reservation.
  11. A $5.00 fee will be charged for each surfboard (maximum 7 feet long) and for each additional item of luggage. Both items require advanced reservation.
  12. We love pets but they won't be allowed on the vans
  13. Our company cannot be held responsible for items lost or left behind in our vehicles.
  14. Our company cannot be held responsible for schedule changes in ferry services, nor for accidents and/or loss of luggage during the trip on the ferry.
  15. Our companymay change or cancel any service for reasons of beyond our control, such as: strikes, weather conditions, war or local guerrillas, public demonstrations, natural disasters or acts of terrorism.

Our company can not be held responsible for loss or damage to carry-on items left unsupervised by the passenger. This includes carry-on items incorrectly stored with the luggage. Transportation of additional luggage, surfboards (maximum 7 feet in length), or large items are not included in the price and must be arranged ahead of time with our company. A payment of $3 (U.S.) is required for each extra item. Additional luggage or large items will be stored in the luggage compartment, while surfboards will be secured to the roof of the shuttle bus. All extra items If there is no space remaining, extra items cannot be transported.
