*DAY 1. Managua - Granada
You will be received by a bilingual representative of Nicaragua Adventures at Managua international airport. Transfer your hotel La Gran Francia 3* in Granada, junior suite with beautiful view to the square. Free evening in the City.
Founded in 1524 along the shores of the “Sweet Sea”, Granada represents an elegant and historical city in Nicaragua. Being currently restored, it is becoming the pearl of the colonial cities in Central America. Right at the Central park you can get a traditional horse back carriage, pulled by two horses and conducted by a local driver. Granada is the best place for tourism because of its beauty and colonial architecture, charming hotels and activities to enjoy nearby: Lake Nicaragua and the islands, Mombacho volcano with its nature reserve, Masaya, with its active volcano and folklore, the Apoyo Lagoon, a wonderful crater lake with pure waters... Located only 1 hour away from the capital Managua and 90 minutes from the border with Costa Rica, Granada is also the perfect place for a combined trip with the 2 countries!
*DAY 2. Granada-Masaya area-Granada
Your guide will pick you up in your hotel. Transfer to Masaya situated 14 Km north of Granada and 17 km south from Managua, the town of Masaya rises on the banks of the lake that has the same name, you will start the tour visiting the First National Park created in Nicaragua in 1979, one of Nicaragua's most interesting and beautiful natural phenomena. It comprises an area of 54 km2 with more than 20 km of scenic roads and trails, leading to and around the one impressive volcano and five formidable craters; one of them currently displays gaseous activity and incandescent lava in its interior. You can also visit the Museum that offer interesting history and legends. Then we will visit the finest Handicraft Market where you can enjoy the creativity and variety of Nicaraguan art at bargain prices the market is open all days of the week but in the morning the activity is more frenetic. Later, enjoy a delicious lunch in Catarina, a small and characteristic village of Nicaragua where people work seedling nurseries, make handcraft and raise horses. Placed on top of a hill at 520 metres over the sea level, present a very agreeable climate, the temperature is between 22 and 27 degrees, from here you can have a magnificent view of the Apoyo lagoon, Mombacho volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua. In the afternoon, we will go to San Juan de Oriente, famous for its ceramic arts. Transfer back to Granada. Night in your hotel
*DAY 3. Granada-

Mombacho Natural Reserve/Canopy tour
In the morning we will pick you up in your hotel. From Granada, we will drive to the shores of the Mombacho volcano. From there, you will reach the top of the mountain, thanks to a special truck. Drive through the coffee plantations, and then arrive at 3 500 ft above see level. There you will enjoy a walk (soft hike) in the tropical forest, around one of the craters. It will take you one and a half hour to circle the crater. Observe this impressive nature, where can be found more than 700 species of plants and flowers. Also you will enjoy spectacular views to Lake Nicaragua and the islands.

Lake Nicaragua & Isletas:
Your guide will pick you up in your hotel. transfer to Puerto Asese at only 10 minutes from the city, in the port our Capitan will be waiting for you, you will go for a boat ride in Lake Nicaragua to discover its luxuriant vegetation, las Isletas is an archipelago of 365 little volcanic islands (one for each day of the year) situated inside Cocibolca Lake, 3 Km. far from Granada city. All these islands are luxuriant, rich in fauna and flora, especially in water birds, the inhabitants (“Isleños”) live peacefully in simple yet decent conditions and dedicate themselves to fishing and small agriculture. You will see many howler monkeys live on the shores of Mombacho volcano located close to the islands. Then ride back to the port and transfer to Granada, night in your hotel.
Granada – City Tour:
The tour will Start going to the old Convent and Church San Francisco, now is a historical museum, later we will go to La Casa de los tres mundos: art gallery, and a cultural academy, we will visit Iglesia la Merced, with beautiful sculptures and decorated with elegant paintings. you will go to the old train station that has just been restored and it’s localized in front of Sandino Park, and the last place we’ll visit is La Polvora, old fort where the Spanish stores the dynamite and weapons in the 17th and 18th century to face the attacks of English and French pirates. Then we will come back to the Central park there you can buy handcraft and you can seat to watch all the panoramic of this colonial city. Night in your hotel.
*DAY 4. Granada – Morgan’s Rock
In the morning your driver will pick you up in your hotel, leave Granada, drive South to San Juan del Sur, Typical fishermen port, drive 7 more miles north, arrive in Morgan’s Rock****, this exceptional high-end resort is part of a 1000 hectares reforestation project and an 800 private nature reserve that host a diversity of forest west, 15 miles away from de border with Costa Rica. Animals including three different kinds of monkeys, sloth, white tipped deer’s and an extensive variety of birds, natives to this tropical region, located in front of the most beautiful beaches of Nicaragua. Don’t miss the experience of crossing the 100 meters suspension bridge overlooking the ocean.
*DAY 5-6. Morgan’s Rock

*DAY 7. Morgan’s Rock – Managua.
Transfer to Managua and accommodation in your hotel Los Robles 3* or hotel Intercontinental 4* located downtown Managua. Free evening in Managua, night in your hotel.
*DAY 8. Managua – International Airport
Transfer to Managua international airport, 2 hours before your flight departure. End of our services.
