This new hotel is located on the west side of Ometepe Island, in a small bay in front of the water and right next to Charco verde natural lake. It features 15 bungalows and double rooms with air conditioning, private bathroom and double and single beds. It also features a bar, waterfront restaurant with fresh fish.

We like: very good location for this new place located just 25 minutes drive from the ferry, good spot to start all activities.

ROOMS

The 15 bungalows and rooms count with a/c and private bath. All cabanas have a small terrace, some with lake view.

FACILITIES/SERVICES

Restaurant, bar, internet service, back up generator, private secure parking. Our agency can arrange several different tours, starting from the hotel (with previous reservation with our office quite in advance): walking trails around Charco Verde lake with lots of birds; volcanoes hike, cloud forest, petroglyphs tours, coffee farm, visit of the island and more. Horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking can be arranged at the hotel.

Note: the place being “laid back”, don’t expect the quality of service and accommodations you can get in Managua, Granada, San Juan del Sur… Part of the staff can comunicate in English. Not luxury but so far the best place in Ometepe, conveniently located in the Island to start your excursions.
