First you will visit the Masaya Volcano & National Park, located few minutes from Masaya, looking down to the still active crater will take your breath away. There is also a small museum dedicated to the volcanoes history. Then you will visit the city of Masaya & its handicraft market, where you can admire and buy at reaonable prices unique pieces made by the locals, more than 150 shops offer all the items made in the area: wood, hammocks, leathers, ceramics, painting and much more. Later we’ll stop at Catarina Lookout and its impressive views, where a refreshment will be served
Then we will visit a ceramic manufacturer in the typical village “San Juan de Oriente”, you can watch the process (Monday to Friday), that is transmitted from fathers to sons since generations. Possibility of purchasing ceramics.
