We will pick you up in San Juan del Sur at your arrival at the dock. You will be transferred to Granada (1h45) located on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. On the way you will observe Ometepe Island and its two twin volcanoes.

Founded in 1524 along the shores of the “Sweet Sea”, Granada represents an elegant and historical city in Nicaragua. Being currently restored, it is becoming the pearl of the colonial cities in Central America: Central Park and its special atmosphere, colonial buildings, old train station, antique Spanish forts to prevent from attacks of English pirates, port and more. Stop in the main sites (San Francisco Convent, la Polvora, Central park, churches).
Then we will reach the lake where your captain will be expecting you. Go for a boat ride in Lake Nicaragua to discover a few of the 365 small Islands “Isletas” and their people, fauna and flora, this is a very unique ambience. This tour makes a perfect combination between architecture, culture and eco-tourism.

Masaya National Park - Masaya Market – Catarina and San Juan de Oriente

We will pick you up in San Juan del Sur at your arrival at the dock. We will drive you to Masaya Volcano (National Park just 14kms from Granada).

Your tour will start visiting the First National Park created in Nicaragua in 1979, one of Nicaragua's most interesting and beautiful natural phenomena. It comprises an area of 54 km2 with more than 20 km of scenic roads and trails, leading to and around the one impressive volcano and five formidable craters; one of them currently displays gaseous activity and incandescent lava in its interior. You can also visit the Museum that offer interesting history and legends.

Then we will visit the finest Handicraft Market where you can enjoy the creativity and variety of Nicaraguan art at bargain prices.

Later transfer to Catarina where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Catarina is a small and characteristic village of Nicaragua where people work seedling nurseries, make handcraft and raise horses. Placed on top of a hill at 520 meters over the sea level, present a very agreeable climate, the temperature is between 22 and 27 degrees, from here you can have a magnificent view of the Apoyo lagoon, Mombacho volcano, Granada and Lake Nicaragua., after your lunch will go to San Juan de Oriente, famous for its ceramic arts.

Then we will transfer you back to San Juan del Sur on good time to get your cruise.
